Recently, some parents expressed the wish to form a group to create language practice opportunities for their children outside the home environment.

We encouraged them to begin with simple activities, such as translation and crafts based on everyday objects the children are familiar with. The group now seeks to engage with other institutions and community groups in Manchester interested in promoting and celebrating multilingualism. A recent activity consisted of making multilingual signs and labels for a community garden.
