Manchester has a wide range of events available to celebrate Interational Mother Language Day in 2023. Over 25 events across various venues ranging from libraries, to museums, to community spaces and more. The activities range from dance, to crafts, to translation workshops.

There’s something for everyone with a blend of events aimed at families and children, professionals, adults (multilingual and those with an interest in the city’s linguistic diversity. Languages help keep traditions alive and recognition of languages by your home city helps everyone feel respected and that they belong here.
