The Multilingual Museum digital platform has re-launched its website. The platform was initiated in 2020 by City of Languages co-founder Yaron Matras and collaborators at Manchester Museum. It was further developed in 2022-2023 thanks to a grant from Heritage Fund based on a concept developed by City of Languages in collaboration with Manchester Museum. The platform invites the public to contribute content in the language varieties of their choice. Its intended purpose is to present language as heritage and support confidence in home and heritage languages.
